SHEET AB1 — COORDINATING CARGO ACROSS SEA, ROAD AND WAREHOUSE

Finn Freight Works plans and coordinates the movement of cargo for importers, exporters, manufacturers and e-commerce businesses operating in and around Finland. Our work covers sea freight, road freight, customs clearance, warehousing and distribution, last-mile delivery and project cargo, managed as a connected supply chain rather than a series of separate bookings.

Based in Vantaa, close to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and the capital region's main transport routes, we work closely with Finland's port and customs procedures and with road networks connecting Finland to the rest of the Nordic region, the Baltics and the wider EU. This allows us to plan routing decisions with a practical understanding of where delays typically occur, including seasonal conditions, and to prepare documentation in a way that reduces the risk of hold-ups.

SHEET AB2 — HOW WE APPROACH FREIGHT COORDINATION

Every shipment starts with an assessment of the cargo itself: its dimensions, value, timing and destination market. From there, we recommend the transport mode or combination of modes that fits the shipment, prepare the required customs and shipping documentation, and manage the handover between each stage of the journey, whether that is a port terminal, a customs checkpoint, our Vantaa warehouse, or a final delivery point.

Clients working with us typically want one point of contact managing multiple moving parts, rather than having to coordinate separately with a shipping line, a customs broker, a warehouse operator and a delivery fleet.
